Prospect Mayor Doug Farnsley’s sister Ann Farnsley was a professional artist. Ann moved to Vevay, Indiana, in 1970, and became a committed and active member of that sophisticated, small river town. Ann and her life served as the inspiration for Art in City Hall.

We are pleased to present a talk and Q & A with Warren Payne of Payne Fine Arts on Friday, August 14, at 1:00PM at Prospect City Hall.
Warren with his wife, Julie, are private art dealers and consultants. He will discuss how he began collecting artwork and turned it into representing and selling art. He has focused primarily on Kentucky and Southern Indiana artists whose work he believes deserves greater recognition. They have been in many exhibitions and curated several, and have produced 8 catalogs and four books, some of which Warren will bring with him.
